Saints Summer Soccer Skills Camp was a huge success last week. We had over 70 participants and everyone learned a ton and had a lot of fun. There were Skills Challenges, Passing, Shooting, Scoring, Individual Skills Training, World Cup competitions, World Cup viewing, Yoga, Foosball tournaments, Skills Showcases and so much more. Announcing Saints Soccer Academy’s partnership with Portland Public School’s SUN After-School Program. Starting this week Saints coaches will be volunteering their time and working closely with King Elementary and Beach Elementary for weekly after school Soccer Skills clinics. SUN Community Schools such as King and Beach offer opportunities that support healthy child and youth development and family stability. Through the collective efforts of youth, parents, businesses, faith communities, libraries, and community organizations they aim to create a network of supports that ensure youth academic success and that communities thrive. We’re both honored and excited to be a part of this!
The Spring season of TOPSoccer is upon us! TOPSoccer is The Outreach Program for Soccer for kids with special needs, a national outreach program for soccer sponsored by US Youth Soccer. We welcome any child 5 and up for whom a typical soccer recreational program would not have enough support or the right structure to meet their needs.
