Saints Go Marching Through 1st Season!

The inaugural Fall season of Saints Soccer Academy came to a close last weekend as our teams wrapped up an unquestionably successful 1st season of OYSA soccer!  This growing little gem of a soccer club in North Portland has some extremely talented coaches and kids and we couldn’t be more proud of them all.  Some of our teams led their individual divisions, while others competed hard and brought home some invaluable experience.  In addition to some on-field triumphs, there were some off field swimming parties, pizza parties and outings to U of P soccer matches that made for a memorable 1st season.  We’re just about to start Winter Futsal and are already gearing up for Spring 2017.  Go Saints!

Winter Futsal Now Open To All!

futsal-bannerWe’ve just opened registration to ALL families for Saints Winter Futsal league. We’re fielding several boys & girls teams from U7 (2010 & 2011 birth years) to U15 (2002 & 2003 birth years). If you’re interested, register now by clicking on this banner.  
 
All teams will be playing one game per weekend at Rose City Futsal, with the exception of our U11 and U15 Boys’ teams, who will be playing at Portland Futsal. The season runs from November 19th until February 12th with no games being played over the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
 
We’re pretty excited about the upcoming season. It’s a fantastic way for kids to get some indoor training and further develop their skills during the winter months.

Saints Store Now Open!

Attention Saints Fans, Families and Friends! We now have some pretty cool Saints Soccer Academy merchandise available to order: Hats, Hoodies, Tees, Waterbottles, Mugs, Umbrellas and more. Keep an eye out for an Order Forms coming home from practice this week. You can also download the Form from the Saints website here via the STORE tab.  Orders need to be in before October 15th, so what are you waiting for!?

Saints Night Out

The Saints U9, U10 and U12 Girls teams and their families went out to see the University of Portland Women’s Soccer team play Pepperdine this past Friday night.  Fun was had by all and the girls got to welcome the U of P players onto the field and cheer the team on. The night was also a nod to the U of P Women’s 2005 Championship team with Megan Rapinoe & Company being brought out at halftime to a big round of cheers.

Winter Futsal
