Saints Soccer Academy’s final Summer Soccer Skills Camp takes place Monday-Friday August 21-25 at Cully Park Soccer Complex. Our summer camps are a chance for players to fine-tune and improve players’ soccer skills in a highly positive environment. You do not have to be a Saints Soccer Academy player to join our camps. They’re open to ALL Boys & Girls ages 5-13.
This camp features guest appearances from former Timbers player Ryan Johnson, Thorns player Teagan McGrady and Saints Coach and former Timbers player Kalif Alhassan. Saints Technical director isaiah escobedo WILL also be returning from his appearance at the panna world championships in denmark to direct the camp. You won’t want to miss this one!
Our Summer Camps are designed specifically for players of all ages and skill levels between the ages of 5 and 13 years old. Our camps feature highly experienced and licensed Soccer Coaches who are there to teach solid fundamental and technical skills, while instilling a solid sense of teamwork and personal development through the beautiful game of soccer. In partnership with the Positive Coaching Alliance our Coaches & Instructors will emphasize skill development, teamwork and personal development throughout each of the camps.
Our camps this year take place at Cully Park’s beautiful grass fields. Our camp is structured into two sessions: Morning Sessions will take place between 9am-12pm with a snack-break and then an hour long lunch break. Afternoon Sessions will run from 1-3pm. All sessions will be focussed on varying aspects of the game, from ball control, playing in tight spaces, strategy, positioning, dribbling, passing and shooting, to defense and goalkeeping. Players will be placed in age-appropriate and skill-appropriate groups to enhance their learning experience and personal growth. Each player will learn through group drills, individual one-on-one coaching and through scrimmages and game situations.
